Thursday

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN - Thank You card

Good morning.  Its considerably warmer this morning in my neck of the woods than it was yesterday and it is supposed to be up to around 16 degrees, which is wonderful.  Can you believe it is Thursday (if you are reading this today), the days are just flying by.

We (the royal we) have been sorting out the garden for quite a while and we are planting up all the seeds that have turned into seedlings.  The plant pots at the back of the house are nearly full, the watering system is in place and now we have moved  on to the garden at the front of the house.  Not so much will get done today as we have other committments but we shall be back on it again tomorrow.  Hopefully I shall get chance to have my coffee in the garden and enjoy the work we have done later this morning.

Its a bit of admin work first thing before a few chores that need to be done.  I believe its going to be one of those days where the windows will be wide open and the fresh air will flow thorugh a clean home, once I have finished the cleaning.

Here is a little thank you card created with some beautiful Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper, a lovely stamped image carefully coloured in with the two step stamping technique. Add colour co-ordinated ribbon and embellishments along with a fun fold design which gives it that little extra something to make it feel just a little bit special.

I do so love making cards—if that wasn’t already obvious! There is something rather magical about sitting down in the craft room, surrounded by paper, ink and pretty things, watching an idea slowly come to life. It is one of those simple joys that never really loses its charm.

This week, I made a point of setting aside a little more time for creating, swapping some screen time for craft time, and it has been such a lovely reminder of how much I enjoy it. Sometimes the best thing we can do is make space for the things that make us happy.

So, for now, it is a case of more time with stamps and scissors, a little more creativity and plenty of crafty moments to enjoy.

Join us for a relaxed, friendly Friday night crafting this Friday night and on the last Friday of each month where anything crafty goes.  Whether you knit, paint, stitch, stamp, crochet, draw, scrapbook, sew, or happily dabble in a bit of everything, you’ll find a warm welcome waiting for you.

Bring along your current projects, half-finished ideas, or something brand new you’ve been itching to start. There’s no pressure, no rules and no expectations, just a cosy, creative space filled with chatter, laughter and like-minded folk who love making things as much as you do.
Please do bring a mug to make your drink in, settle in and enjoy an evening that’s as much about connection and creativity as it is about getting things made.
If you’d like a little more information, please do get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.

Thank you for having a read, I am making an early start on things so that I can squeeze a little more time in the craft room later this evening.  Wishing you a terrific Thursday.  Tracey x
