DAY ONE HUNDRED AND TEN - The start of a brand new week and Wedding Cards

Good morning.  I do hope you had a smashing Sunday yesterday.  So today is a new start to a new week and I have no expectations this week except to work through a daily to-do list.  Everything on the list should be achievable and I am so looking forward to seeing the ticks at the end of the day.  I have added in craft time, not all day, just some parts of it where I can sit down and create the projects I want to.

I really  cant believe that we are over half way through the month and I havent shared the April Kits that Stampin' Up! released at the beginning of the month.  So, here they are starting with Sunniest Stories Scrapbooking kit.

Think of the Sunniest Stories Scrapbooking Kit as a little treasure box for your memories. Inside, you’ll find everything you need to create six meaningful s2 page preads, including pockets, photo frames, printed sentiments, lined pages for your stories and plenty of fun accents. This kit is full of creative possibilities and the perfect place to honour the moments that make your heart feel full!

The kit includes one of each of the following items:
- Step-by-step instructions
- 12 sheets of single-sided Designer Series Paper
- 4 sheets of pre-cut images and phrases
- 4 sheets of cut-apart designs
- 20 coloured and patterned 4" x 6" (10.2 x 15.2 cm) cards
- 1 sheet of printed stickers
- 8 yards (7.3 m) of Tear & Tape Adhesive
- 100 Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
- 50 Mini Glue Dots

Then there is the very pretty Painted Skies Kit

If beautiful sunsets are your thing, the Painted Skies Kit is calling your name. Create vibrant, hand-painted–style skies with scenes featuring lighthouses, palm trees, and rolling ocean waves as your artistic focal points. Friendly greetings, gratitude themes, and celebratory sentiments add just the right finishing touch.  You can make 9 cards, 3 each of 3 designes.

Kit includes the items listed below.
- Step-by-step instructions
- 9 printed envelopes
- Pre-cut paper pieces, printed labels
- Sequins
- Adhesive

I have been asked to make a few wedding cards so here are the first two.  They are very much the same except the background behind the heart dies are different.  One is very sparkly with more of a silver tone and the other is a shimmer, which I have teamed up with pearls.  These shall be passed on to my daughters who have a few weddings to go to over the Summer months.   It was great fun getting out a die that has been tucked away and getting it cut out.  Decided on the background beneath the die cut was tricky, too many choices, but I am pleased with how they turned out.  Of course, it called for a little embosssing so that is what I did.

Well, I had best get a wiggle on and get on with my day.  Thank you so much for having a read and should you wish to comment, please do.  Tracey x
