A start to a wonderful week with Soft Seedlings

Good morning and hello to a brand new week.  I was up early again today but as I have to rest my legs at least twice a day, I shall have a couple of nanny naps at some stage.

The craft room clean up started yesterday and today its just a dust, hoover and mop to get it all shiny and sparkley.  I do love walking into it when it is clean, my problem is that if I make anything, I pull everything out and then the mess starts all over again, sigh.....  I am sure I am not the only one though.

I am looking forward to a week of catching up with friends and getting into some kind of routine again.  Of course, today is also the day that I get stuck in to making a wedding invitation or two as my youngest daughter is due to get married next year.  The design is done, the samples are made and we have purchased just about everything that we need.  All she needs now is mum to get cracking, something else for me to look forward to.

I got the new Soft Seedlings stamp out on Saturday and had a bit of play with it to make some cards that I had seen made byMary Knab, a fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrato,  whilst I was away. I cant tell you how many things I want to have a go at.

These all started out as a one sheet wonder and I could kick myself that I didnt take a photo prior to cutting everything up.  I stamped on the insert of all the cards with one, two and three leaves, similar to the photo below.

I guess I will just have to make a few more to share the pre cut photo with you.

I did make these cards on line as I hope to do two or three sessions a week with everyone.  If you are not already a member of the facebook group, The Craft Room, Derby - Craft Forum please do feel free to join the group and have a look how I did them.  I do need quite a bit more practise with videos but one step at a time.

I just love the texture of this stamp and it is one of the Dist INK  tive stamps from Stampin' Up!  These create different opacities in a single stamped image.  If you would like a little more information, please feel free to get in touch with me, all my details are below.

Well I had best go and get my day started.  Thank you so much for having a read.  Your visits to the blog are really appreciated.  Tracey x
