Annes Lattice Fence Split card and Derby Dabblers

Good morning, whoop whoop, I managed to get a good nights sleep for 7 hours, body clock is slowly getting back to normal.  Mr. Weatherman says it is going to be warm day which is great news as I have quite a bit of washing to peg out... you cant beat clothes out on the line.

July, really?  I have decided that this month I shall be having lots of feet up time and enjoying each and every moment as it happens.  Making sure I catch up with friends and family as well as crafting of course.

I am hoping to pop to a local garden centre/handmade workshops today as they are having an open day as well as live music.  I am craving some fresh air and something new so this should be a great couple of hours out.

We had our Derby Dabblers get together last night.  This is a local craft club that started about 18 months ago.  Everyone takes along their own thing and we sit and craft for a few hours but it is so funny, so relaxing and the world gets put to rights.  It is always on the last Friday of the month in Alvaston, Derby so if you are local and fancy coming along, you are more than welcome to.  The next one is Friday 28th July.

I wanted to share this card that Anne made to demonstrate in The Craft Room, Derby at the catalogue launch that we had in May.  Lots of folk got to have a go at making a similar card.  There are lots of names for this including 'lattice fence split',  gated easel’and 'Fence Card' are just a few of them.  This uses the Cheerful Daisies stamp set, which really is a vertsitile set.
