Days out, Inked & Tiled and a catch up

Good morning.

Life does keep getting in the way and for those that know by now, the blog is the first thing that gets put on hold.

It was our wedding anniversary at the weekend and we treated ourselves by going to Tatton Park for the RHS show.  We did this last year and really enjoyed it.  Well we knew it would rain but we were not expecting it to be continuously raining all the time we were there.  We were well prepared for it and to be honest, it didnt spoil our day but we didnt linger as long as we would have done.  There were some beautiful displays, flowers we had never heard of and of course so many pretty ideas that I would like to copy.

Heres me with Bill and Ben, the flower pot men, arriving at the show....in the pouring rain.

A couple of the pretty plants I saw that I havent seen before and are on my shopping list for next year.

Mid afternoon when it was still raining and no signs of it letting up

on the way out of the park we were right up close to this wonderful Stag

Then it was over to the Kimpton  Clock Tower Hotel for another wonderful evening in an amazing hotel.  The trip back home on Monday was through the Peak District.  I had certainly forgotten what wonderful scenery we have on our doorstep. It was breathtaking.

Of course there has been lots of crafting taking place too. I am trying to use up some very pretty papers I have and I saw this card on pintrest so thought I would have a go at making my own version.  It is using the Inked and Tiled stamp set, co-ordinating 6x6 papers  along with the new Pebbled Path card stock and ribbon.

Stamped the images directly onto patterned papers, something I dont do often enough. I wonder if you do this?

We have our Derby Dabblers Craft Club this Friday night and it would be wonderful if you wanted to join us.  We shall have a game of bingo and there will be lots of crafty chatter.

These are the last few days that you can grab a bonus day coupon.  When you spend £45 in July on an order, you will receive a coupon for £4.50 to use in August so if there is anything that you would like to order please, do get in touch or click on the link below to place an order.

Well I had best go and get ready to start my day.  I am in the craft room all day as I have lots of projects to finish and put away, a few birthday cards to arrange for some very special friends and I must try and take some more photographs.  Thank you so much for having a read and I hope you have a wonderful day.  Tracey
