DAY SEVENTY SIX - Year of the Flowers, Kit Night, Cuppa and a Card and Card Making Classes

Good morning.  I am not sure where my weekend went to but boy was it lovely, as well as being busy.  The weather here in Derby wasnt the best but that didnt stop me from doing anything that I had planned.

I have been wanting to have a go at making Flap Jacks for a while now and so with the help of hubby, I made some.  It was very nice but I wasnt sure it was sweet enough.  It had butter, mixed nuts, cranberries, dried fruit, flour, golden syrup and oats.  I did exactly as was told and it looked okay.

Friday night was Kit Night.  This is where a group of us sit down in the Craft Room and put Stampin' Up! kits together.  Have you seen all the kits they have? Click on the link below and check them out, they are wonderful.  I gave everyone flapjacks and asked what they thought, it seemed that they were fine, phew.  So I shall be making them again later this week.

Well we had a great night and we were extremely productive. The kits we used were Heirloom Arrangements, Garden in Bloom and Your Day to Shine.   Details of what was used is in a Products list at the end of this post.

Saturday flew by, lots of chores, catching up, emails and messages.  Sunday was a whole day in The Craft Room with ladies from the last years Stamperette Group.   They came armed with projects to create and we had a great day.  So much inspiration and I shall share our makes with you later in the week.  Then that was it, the weekend was gone.

Mum hasnt had such a good weekend, a little confused, not the happiest but lets hope that today she is feeling a little better.  Each day is certainly different.  We have noticed that her condition is certainly getting worse but taking it as it comes.

The diet started last week and both myself and hubby are embracing it.  We are counting the calories and its working out quite well.  I lost 3 1/2lbs and hubby lost 5lbs.  Lets hope we can continue this week on the same track.

If you are local to Derby and fancy meeting up for the first Card and a Cuppa get together on Thursday please, do let me know. It would be lovely to see you.

Would you like to join me for a craft class?

Do let me know if you would like to come along, these are for beginners as well as experienced crafters as there is plenty of help at hand should you need it.  My contact details are below.
