The birds are up, out and singing away and what a lovely sound it is this morning. There are quite a few of them today and they are just outside my window. We put out more bird seed and fat balls yesterday as there were quite a few young blackbirds being fed and being shown what to do. One in particular still has a few white feathers. Lovely to see though.
Once every two weeks I go to our local community hub for a game of bingo followed by uno. It is a great evening with lots of folks and we always have a good laugh. It is said that laughter is the best medicine and last night is really was. If you are local to Derby and fancy an evening out do get to Pride Park on a Tuesday for a couple of hours. Such fun.
So today I have a to do list which includes quite a bit of time in the Craft Room. I am sorting out ribbons, making a few cards and putting up my Easter Decorations. That will keep me occupied for the day but first, I have to go and find some moss!!
How about this for a pretty card.
Paula made this using one of the stamps in the new Elements of Text stamp set which she teamed up with the Textured Floral stamp set. There was a little watercolouring to create the background which was created using the ink in the inkpad lids and a damp water painter. I just love these colours together, they work so well.
