Good afternoon and a very Merry Christmas to anyone and everyone that reads this. I must say that our Christmas morning was amazing. After quite a few sad Christmases, today, being with the girls and their sons (husbands too of course), it was full of excitement, laughter and surprises. We were hoping to go for a walk around 7am but it just poured it down with rain so we gave up on that idea. We made it to Sophias house just before 9am and there were so many presents under the tree.
We had a take away coffee and got to work on some unwrapping, it was wonderful. All this was followed by a buffet breakfast and more laughter. Of course Nana and Grandad got lots of time to play with the little ones before they all went off for a 'large' family Christmas lunch.
Hubby and I came home and set to cooking a traditional English Christmas Day lunch with all the trimmings, no cranberry sauce though, oh well, we cant have it all.
I still have a few Festive Makes to share so here is Festive Make No. 25
These cards are a slighltly larger size at 5" x 7" and I absolutely loved making them. I stamped onto water coloured card using Saddle Brown Stazon ink and then left if for a whole day to be sure it was dry. Then I grabbed my Stampin' Up! inks, dabbed the ink pad onto an acrylic block, added a little water and stared painting. The whole process was so relaxing and enjoyable, definitely a style I will be coming back to next year. The stamp is from my stash.
