I thought I would share with you the festives makes of 2025. I have been making my Christmas cards since January this year at our Festive Friday evenings. Its a great way of getting ahead and not having a panic.
I had so much fun creating this card. I pulled out a mix of my favourites including a much-loved stamp from my stash that makes an appearance almost every year, though this time I gave it a completely fresh twist.
I stamped the image in the gorgeous StazOn Saddle Brown ink, then brought it to life using a blend of Stampin’ Up! inks, a little water and a fine water painter for all those soft, detailed touches. The sentiment is computer-generated and trimmed perfectly using the Stampin’ Up! trimmer.
For the card base and front, I used Very Vanilla card stock while the stamped image went onto my treasured (and sadly retired!) Shimmery White cardstock, nothing else quite compares to it and I still haven’t found anything that matches its magic.
And the sparkle? Oh yes, it’s there. Even if it’s a bit shy in the photo, the twinkly touches are all thanks to Stickles, giving the card that extra festive shimmer. The big bold dies used to create the frame are so old but work wonderfully well. I absolutely loved making this one and hubby enjoyed receiving it.
