Blessings of Home and Easter

Good morning and it was another early start today.  The sound of those pesky birds was wonderful, really.  It was a lovely way to start the day.

I have finally managed to get back onto my blog after a wonderful Easter weekend and a busy week.  I do hope you have had a nice Easter break.   We were so lucky to get lots of wonderful Easter gifts and I feel so terrible as I didnt do anything for Easter this year, having been away for so long it has taken me a couple of weeks to get back to some kind of normality.  I have already written on my calendar for next year to start the Easter bits and bobs in February, I will certainly be ready then.

Thank you so much to everyone for spoiling us.

My parents came to spend the afternoon with us on Easter Sunday as did my sister and brother in law and the weather was brilliant.  We managed to spend a few hours in the garden together.

Monday was a totally different story.  I ended up in A&E with the most awful pains and after 6 hours, I was diagnosed with gall stones!!  I am now awaiting an ultra sound which could take as long as 9 weeks.  I have antibiotics and painkillers which should keep me ticking over however I am afraid to eat.  I know I am on a diet but my food intake at the moment is minimal.  I have read all about the food which may trigger the pain from gall stones and am making sure that I drink plenty (fruit tea and water).

On a more positive note, we had a lovely time this week in the craft room making cards and we have made three new friends, one of which has never made a card before.

Here is a card that Sally made a while ago using the stamp set Blessings of Home.

It is such a cheery card, not sure that is a proper word though. I adore the way she has coloured it in (she is very talented).   If you wanted to see more details about the Blessings of Home stamp set, click on the link below.  You can also check out the dies and the co-ordinating papers as well.

We are having a Stampin' Social on Monday playing with the Horizon Papers and stamps to create a few cards and I am really looking forward to it.  I shall share our creations in the week.

Thank you for having a read today and I hope you have a great weekend.  Tracey x
