Forever Fern and my very first Youtube

Good morning.  We have had quite a bit of rain over the last few days in Derby which meant it was one job less in watering the plants, I will be pleased when we get the watering system up and running. The weather doesnt look to change today, waking up to a bit more rain.  I read last week that it rains so that gardeners can do jobs in the house, well that is so very true in my case.

I have already help a couple of Zoom classes this week and due to hold another 2 or 3.  Everyone that purchased a Forever Fern stamp set got to join in with some card making get togethers and we had a repeat of one that we did last week.  I do so enjoy our time together.

This is the card we made, lots of other bold colours were used by the ladies in the group, I decided to used cinemon cider on this one.

We had a go at what is called the 'Split card' technique which Jenny McGuire showed us how to do and the cards turned out lovely. I did a little extra and made the insert to match the card.  Then I had a go at making a co-ordinating envelope as well as the envelope liner...phew.  But they all look lovely together. I used a new stamp set to me, Tasteful Touches for the sentiment, Just Saying Hello seemed to be perfect for this card.    I was extremely brave and then created my very first youtube instructions on how to decorate the envelope and make the envelope liner this.

I know there are lots of improvements that can be made on the next video that I make but I have made a start and I am so pleased with it.  You have to start somewhere dont you.

We have had lots of lovely visitors over the last few days too, at a distance of course.  It was great to see everyone and lets hope next time we can give hugs.

If you would like to join in with our Zoom classes you are most welcome to.  There is no charge, you dont have to use Stampin' Up! products just whatever you have in your craft room.  Should you wish to purchase any of the products you see from me, that would be amazing but dont feel that you have to.  Just socialising, being with other crafters and creative is so nice.  My next one is on Saturday at 3pm

Well I had best go and start my day, we have a plasterer coming to replaster the ceiling in the living room at 8am and I cant be in the house....I wonder where I can go for the day?  Okay it will be the craft room.  Thanks for having a read and I hope you manage to stay dry.  Tracey x
