Monday

Happy Birthday Elaine

Good morning.  I am so pleased that it is a little cooler today as we are hoping to chop down the height of the holly bush today.  We have already made it a little thinner but we used up two brown bins with all the waste and had to wait for them to be emptied again.  A lovely job for us straight after lunch.

I am off to Burton this morning, a shop called Dunelm.  I got mum her new towels for her newly fitted bathroom last week and the shop didnt have any matching bath mats.  We have to have the ones that are rubber backed so that they dont move and no one slips on them.  So it is a trip to Burton.  On my way there I am dropping off my assortment of plants so that they can be looked after whilst we are away.  Then its a visit to mum and dad.  I cut dads hair for him, its using a trimmer but I can always getting looking a little tidier.  Unfortunately mum had yet another fall yesterday, such a worry.

Once the hedge has been cut I hope to spend a couple of hours in the craft room to finish off a few bits and to tidy things up.  It wont be used whilst we are away so I like to make sure its all nice and clean for when I get back.

Here is a card that was made recently for Elaines birthday.
