Free as a bird

Good morning and although the sun is out and it is quite warm, the forecast is for more rain.

For Christmas in 2011 this is what I got from Paul.

Last Wednesday after I put the cake in the oven I noticed that my K beater was black?  Paul looked at it and told me that the cake mixture was taking away the coating from my K beater.  Well I went straight on to the Kenwood site,  'chatted' on line with an assistant who told me that they would replace the K beater immediately, goodness.  First thing Saturday morning look what arrived.  It just goes to show that there are still lots of companies out there that are looking after their customers.  Well done Kenwood.  Paul believes it has a lifetime guarantee.

Stampin' Up! also have a fantastic customer service, they answer all questions that they can, replace faulty items and always try to make sure that the customer is happy.  Here are one of the cards that we made last week.

All the ingredients are below.  We used the ink pads as paint pallets but taking the ink with a damp paint brush and painted in the birds, branches and flowers.  The actual stamp was inked with Soft Suede ink to make the card base.  I know that the sentiment punches are now retired but so many people, including myself, still use these.

I am off out this morning to do a few little jobs, starting off with a catchup with my upline and then a little shopping before going back into the craft room this afternoon.

Thank you for visiting today and if you go out, grab a brolly.  Tracey x
