Sunday

Birthday Wishes on a Sunday with Frankie

Good morning,  and what a lovely quote above.  It is one that Sophia found and was so apt for me for over the last few days.  I have had a good rest, sorted out the 1001 little things that I had put to one side and now I feel ready to start again.  Sometimes our batteries just need charging up.

So the garden has been spruced up (until all that rain yesterday), the aloe vera plants have been seperated and once the new ones have established they will be looking for new homes.  The spare room has been taken apart and put back together again.  It was time to sort out the drawers which contained Christianas bits and bobs.  I managed to do a few of them and when the time is right, I will do another few.  Pictures were hung (some were taken down) and things were put in their rightful homes.  I also managed to get to an optician and I can certainly recommend Eye Deal on London Road in Derby.  Fantastic service, fantastic choices and the staff were amazing (thanks to Liz K for recommending them to us) and amazing prices.  I got to attend hospital appointments, sort out doctors and pharmacy issues, get a hair cut and do all the laundry.  I have had afternoon naps, late mornings and early nights and feel a lot better.  Note to ones self....take time for me.

So now I have a new routine which includes daily walks, naps and rest as well as doing all the other little things that I want to do, lets see how this works out.

I have taken the time to watch a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator Ruth Trice create beautiful cards and I crafted along with her.  I created this card (one of four) and sent it out to Diane who had her birthday last week.

I loved making this set of cards and they have all been used so I will make some more this week in a Zoom session on Wednesday at 2pm and on Saturday at 3pm.  If you would like to join me please get in touch with your email address and I shall send you an invitation, along with a list of items needed.  You dont have to use the same stamps that I used, you can use your own stamps, card and colours.  We shall make 4 cards all at the same time.

We have our granddaughters dog with us at the moment, she is staying for the week.

She is keeping us busy and really is a character.

Thank you for having a read today.  I hope you have a smashing Sunday and if you need any help with anything Stampin' Up! please get in touch x
