Wishing You Well

Good morning, 13 degrees outside so my washer is on already. I am all for using the washing line in the good weather.

Christiana was is in good spirits when we left last night.  Monday she had a feeding tube from her nose to her stomach and she was very brave to do that.  I am not sure how long she will be able to keep it in for as her throat is already smaller from the scleroderma but she is really trying.  I have to get her lots of sweets to keep her mouth and throat moist but she didn't know what she likes, which was interesting. Fortunately we discovered MINI STARBURSTS and she loves them, they are small enough for her mouth and perfect for the job of keeping everything moist.  She had her first "food" last night but she is still eating 3 meals a day too, which is very positive.

She has had more xrays, ultra sounds and today she believes she may be starting her iloprost, the annual treatment she has to help with her fingers.   She will be in hospital for a while yet so if anyone would like to visit between 1 - 3pm , just let me know.

Katerina is out of hospital and has more or less recovered from her nasty weekend and mum is off for more discussions at the hospital today about her upcoming treatment of chemotherapy.  Goodness, it is all hospital chatter in this house.

I have been in and out of the craft room as and when I have time but its a bit difficult to find the time.  There are lots of lovely goodies for everyone and if you are around this morning, you are most welcome to pop in to collect.

The thank you cards for this month are just about finished (sorry Pam I forgot to give you yours lol).

Off to start those chores.  Thanks for having a read and enjoy your Wednesday in the good weather.  Tracey x
