Monday

A special 30th Wedding Anniversary Card

Good morning to this start to a new week.  Some of you may start your week on a Sunday as has been pointed out but for me, it starts today.  Mr. Weatherman says 8 degrees with cloud and some sunshine so that will do me fine.

As it is a Monday it is a day of cleaning and of course, wash day.  I am keeping my promise of no cleaning at a weekend and it is working.  Yesterday we were brave and we went out for the day, yes the WHOLE day.  It started with a very wet, cold and blustery visit to Mercia Marina.  It blew the cobwebs off and all the canal boats were lined up looking pretty (too cold to hold camera up to get a photo).  We actually managed to buy a kitchen clock from Zing.  Zing is a really beautiful shop full of pretties. I even managed to go up the stairs, now that is a first.

This was followed by a roast Sunday lunch, a visit to see Rob and the girls and then another visit to see my sister and her family.  Paul and I, my neice and her two little ones as well as my other neice and her boyfriend all arrived at the same time, oooppps.  Then it was a light snack, Endevour and bed.  A really good day and it has left me feeling refreshed and ready to do the chores.  Of course once these are done I hope to get to do a little crafting.

Trisha managed to get her very special card made over the weekend and it is a stunner.

I loved the tissue background (yes it is tissue and so pretty), the wording has been created with the Labeller Alphabet from SU and sets the card off perfectly.  If anyone has any questions about this lovely card just let me know and I shall pass them on to Trisha.

There are a couple of places left on the crafty night on 22nd February.  If you would like an evening of creating a couple of cards, tags and lots of chatter and laughter, please do get in touch.

Thank you for visiting and having a read today.  Tracey x
